The Clay City Police Department provides services and protection to the citizens of Clay City, Kentucky. The officers are trained at the Cabinet of Criminal Justice at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.

The Clay City Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. members, the Chief, and the Chief’s Officers are strictly volunteers; no one gets paid for their services.
